Itinerary
Morning: At 8:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse landscape featuring nine different vegetation zones. The park is famous for its impressive baobab trees and its large concentration of elephants, which provides excellent opportunities to witness elephant families interacting. Alongside elephants, Tarangire is home to lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various antelope species.
Lunch: Enjoy your picnic lunch in an observatory with scenic views of the Tarangire River, where you might even witness a predator hunting.
Afternoon: Continue your game drive in the afternoon, and after a full day of exploring the wildlife and landscapes, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Morning: After breakfast, you will travel across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its small size, the park offers breathtaking scenery, including lush acacia forests and giant fig trees. It’s home to a variety of wildlife, such as baboons, blue monkeys, giraffes, elephants, and impalas. Lake Manyara is also famous for its large buffalo population and hippos that thrive in the lake's waters.
Afternoon: You’ll continue exploring the park’s stunning landscapes, capturing beautiful photos of wildlife against the backdrop of Lake Manyara and its flamingos. You’ll have the opportunity to take extra tours, such as a bike ride or a boat excursion on the lake.
Evening: In the late afternoon, you'll be transferred to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Morning: After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park, the world’s most famous safari destination. On your way, you’ll make a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater’s rim for an awe-inspiring view of the massive caldera.
Afternoon: As you travel deeper into the Serengeti, you'll be mesmerized by the park’s seemingly endless plains. The Serengeti is home to millions of migratory animals, including wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, making it one of the best places to spot big cats such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You will reach your accommodation after an exciting day of game viewing.
Full Day: Today is a full day dedicated to exploring the Serengeti. The day is flexible and will be organized according to your preferences. You could either opt for a morning and afternoon game drive, with time for relaxation in between, or spend the entire day out in the park with a picnic lunch. Your guide will tailor the schedule to ensure you get the most out of your Serengeti experience.
Evening: Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s incredible wildlife encounters.
Morning: Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, an incredible experience as the park comes to life in the soft morning light. Afterward, return to the camp for a hearty brunch before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater.
Afternoon: Upon reaching the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will descend into the crater, often referred to as the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater is 102 square miles in size, with 2000-foot-high walls, creating a natural enclosure that hosts an abundance of wildlife. It is one of the few places where you may spot the endangered black rhino. The crater is also home to flamingos, hippos, and some of the largest elephants in Africa, known for their immense tusks.
Evening: After your game drive, head to your accommodation for the night, ready for the next day's adventures.
Morning: Start your day early by descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling morning of wildlife viewing. The crater offers one of the best opportunities to see the Big Five in Tanzania, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch near Hippo Lake, surrounded by the park’s extraordinary scenery.
Afternoon: After lunch, you'll have time for one last game drive in the crater before ascending the crater walls and making your way back to Arusha. Depending on your schedule, you’ll arrive back in Arusha at around 5:00 PM, although we can adjust the timing if you have a flight to catch.
